Is the Salesforce B2C Commerce Architect certification being retired?
Yes. Salesforce’s exam guide states that the B2C Commerce Architect certification will be retired effective 1 February 2027, as part of its 2027 certification retirements.
Salesforce set three dates, all at 00:00 UTC: the last day to register was 24 July 2026, the last day to take the exam was 31 August 2026, and the retirement date is 1 February 2027. Both exam deadlines have passed, so there is no longer a way to sit the B2C Commerce Architect exam.
If you were planning to earn this cert, the honest answer is that the window has closed. Salesforce points to its 2027 Salesforce Certification Retirements FAQ for the details on existing certifications.

What happens to existing B2C Commerce Architect certifications?
Salesforce’s certification lifecycle article answers this directly: a retired certification is still a valid certification, and retired certifications remain on your Trailblazer profile record so past achievements are not lost.
There is one practical change. Salesforce states that retired certifications will not show on the certification verification page, so an employer or client checking that page will not see it there. Keep your Trailblazer profile and records ready if you need to show the credential.
Until the retirement date, the exam guide’s maintenance rule still applies: complete the B2C Commerce Developer certification maintenance badge on Trailhead once a year, or the certification expires.

What was the B2C Commerce Architect certification?
It was Salesforce’s architect-level credential for B2C Commerce, Salesforce’s ecommerce platform. The exam guide describes the target candidate as someone with experience designing global sites that support multiple brands and channels, who generally has five or more years of ecommerce experience.
Candidates had to hold the Salesforce Certified B2C Commerce Developer certification first. The architect exam then tested whether you could take a project from discovery through build, integration and launch, and keep it running afterwards.

B2C Commerce Architect exam format and passing score
The exam had 60 multiple-choice/multiple-select questions plus up to five unscored questions, with 105 minutes to complete it. The passing score was 65%.
It was proctored, either onsite at a testing center or online, and no hard-copy or online materials could be referenced during the exam. These details describe the exam as it was offered until 31 August 2026.

How much did the B2C Commerce Architect exam cost?

What did the B2C Commerce Architect exam cover?
The exam outline had five weighted sections. Design and discovery carried the most weight, followed by integrations and customizations.
The integration objectives were concrete: choosing between SOAP and REST for a third-party web service, using the productized Job Framework for batch integration and the Service Framework for real-time integration, and spotting legacy AppExchange code that still uses Pipelines.

- Integrations and Customizations — 22%

B2C Commerce Architect vs B2C Solution Architect
The two names are easy to mix up, but they are different credentials. The B2C Commerce Architect was a technical architect credential for the B2C Commerce platform itself, built on the B2C Commerce Developer certification. The B2C Solution Architect is a solution architect exam whose prerequisites are Platform App Builder, Integration Architect and Data Architect.
As of 14 October 2026, Salesforce’s B2C Solution Architect exam guide shows no retirement notice. That exam has 60 questions plus up to five unscored, 120 minutes, a 63% passing score and a US$400 fee, and Salesforce says its candidates generally have two to three years of experience as a solution architect. Salesforce does not name it as a replacement for the B2C Commerce Architect.

B2C Commerce Architect dumps and exam questions
With the exam closed, any site still offering B2C Commerce Architect dumps is selling material for a test nobody can take. Beyond that, Salesforce’s certification agreement prohibits sharing, using or selling exam content in any format, including content you memorise.
The listed consequences include revocation of earned certifications, suspension from all certification exams for 90 days or more, and removal from Salesforce’s credentialing programmes. A retired certification is still yours to keep — losing it, and others, over leaked questions is not a trade worth making.

B2C Commerce Architect practice questions
Certsqill’s B2C Commerce Architect practice questions are expert-developed and follow the five sections of the former exam outline. Since the exam itself can no longer be taken, they serve as a structured review of B2C Commerce architecture — design and discovery, integrations, build, launch and monitoring.
Every question comes with an explanation for every answer option, and your results build a readiness score per domain, which makes gaps in areas such as the Job and Service Frameworks visible quickly.
