LSAT prep courses and LSAT classes
LSAC, which makes the LSAT, offers no instructor-led LSAT prep course or LSAT classes on the pages we checked. Its own preparation is self-study on LawHub: four free full PrepTests, a sample Argumentative Writing prompt and LawHub Advantage at $124 for one year. Judge any LSAT course from another provider by whether it uses official or licensed LSAT content, matches the format without logic games and trains full timed tests in the LawHub interface.

What LSAC offers instead of an LSAT preparation course
LSAC’s preparation route is built around official material rather than lessons. You can start with the free Official LSAT PrepTests on LawHub and upgrade to LawHub Advantage, which unlocks an extensive library of full official LSAT tests. LSAC also sells Official LSAT preparation books and eBooks with real test questions, explanations and advice, and LawHub has tutorial videos on the test interface.
If you want an LSAT study program built only on official material, that is the combination: learn the interface, take previously administered LSATs, which LSAC calls the best way to prepare, and add practice tests under actual, timed conditions.

Free LSAT prep courses: what is actually free
LSAC lists no free LSAT prep course on the pages checked. What is free comes from LSAC directly: four full four-section PrepTests on LawHub, a sample LSAT Argumentative Writing prompt in LawHub’s free library, and a free Official LSAT—Puerto Rico PrepTest for the February LSAT—Puerto Rico.
If money is the barrier, check the LSAC fee waiver. Approved candidates receive a one-year LawHub Advantage subscription, and to unlock the LSAT benefit they complete two unique PrepTests in Exam Mode on LawHub, which is in effect a structured start to preparation.

What is the best LSAT prep course?
There is no official ranking. LSAC’s one piece of advice on choosing a test prep company is to choose a provider that licenses official LSAT content. The best LSAT prep course for you is the one that meets that standard and fits how you learn. Use these checks for any best LSAT course claim:
- Official content: does the course use real, licensed LSAT questions and PrepTests?
- Current format: logic games were sunset after the June 2024 test, so lessons should focus on Logical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension and Argumentative Writing.
- Weighting: two of the three scored sections are Logical Reasoning, so it should get the most practice time.
- Timed practice: full four-section tests in the LawHub interface, not only untimed drills.
- Explanations: every answer choice explained, including why the wrong ones are wrong.
- Measurable progress: results broken down by section and question type.

Online LSAT prep course or LSAT classes in person?
Absent an approved accommodation for an alternative format, the LSAT is delivered on the computer through the LawHub interface. That favors an online LSAT prep course, or at least any course that has you practice on screen with LawHub tools such as ruling out answers and highlighting passages.
LSAT classes in a room can still help with discipline and explanation. If you choose an LSAT test prep class, make sure the homework includes full timed tests on LawHub; LSAT test prep courses that rely on paper alone train a different experience from test day.

Best online LSAT prep course: questions to ask before you pay
When you compare offers for the best online LSAT prep course, ask for specifics rather than reviews. The best online LSAT course for you answers these questions clearly:
- Which official LSAT PrepTests or licensed questions are included, and how many full tests?
- Does it cover LSAT Argumentative Writing, which is required before your score is released?
- Does it still teach logic games? If so, that part no longer matches the test.
- Can you see a score per section after each test?
- How does it fit with LawHub, where four PrepTests are free and LawHub Advantage costs $124 for one year?

LSAT prep program, LSAT course or self-study?
An LSAT prep program can be a full LSAT course with lessons, or self-study on official material with a practice tool on top. Many candidates combine both: an LSAT prep course for the concepts and LawHub for timed, official tests.
Whichever route you choose, you need a way to see when you are ready. Certsqill’s LSAT question bank has expert-developed questions, an explanation for every answer option and a readiness score per section.
