PRINCE2 training: courses for PRINCE2 7 Foundation
PeopleCert lists no prerequisites for PRINCE2 7 Foundation, so a course is a choice, not an entry ticket. The options are PeopleCert’s own official eLearning, sold in bundles with the exam voucher, or a course from an Accredited Training Organization, in a classroom or online. What a PRINCE2 certification training course needs to cover
Any PRINCE2 Foundation training worth paying for follows what PeopleCert lists for Version 7: the seven principles, the seven practices and the seven processes, plus roles and responsibilities, people management, project performance including sustainability, digital and data management, communication, and tailoring the method to a project.
It also has to prepare you for the exam format: 60 multiple-choice questions in 60 minutes, closed book, with a pass mark of 60%. That is one minute per question with no manual, so a PRINCE2 course that only explains the method without timed practice leaves the exam itself to chance.

PeopleCert’s official PRINCE2 course: eLearning bundles
PeopleCert sells PRINCE2 Foundation certification training directly, as the PRINCE2 Official eLearning course: self-paced, bite-sized modules with about 9 hours of interactive content, practical exercises, quizzes and scenario-based case studies. It comes in bundles with the exam voucher, so it is PRINCE2 training and certification in one purchase.
On 9 October 2026 the USD listing showed three tiers. Prices are shown including VAT and differ by region.

Accredited PRINCE2 training: classroom and online
If you want an instructor, PeopleCert points you to its Accredited Training Organizations. It groups them into four tiers — Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze — according to their level of involvement with the PeopleCert portfolio, and lets you search them by product family and location for in-person PRINCE2 courses.
For PRINCE2 training courses online, PeopleCert keeps a separate list of online training providers, filtered as self-paced or virtual classroom. Choosing accredited PRINCE2 training from these lists means the provider is one PeopleCert itself names; prices and schedules are set by each provider.

Self-paced, virtual classroom or in person?
A PRINCE2 training course in a classroom gives you a timetable and an instructor to ask. A virtual classroom keeps the fixed times but drops the travel. Self-paced PRINCE2 project management training lets you repeat the parts that do not stick and fit study around work, but needs your own plan and deadline.
Whichever format you pick, ask the provider three things: is it written for PRINCE2 7, does it include the exam voucher, and how much timed practice under exam conditions is included.

PRINCE2 Agile training: a separate certification
PRINCE2 Agile training prepares you for a different certification, not for PRINCE2 7 Foundation. PeopleCert describes PRINCE2 Agile as a practical solution for scaling agile, developed for anyone who delivers projects in an agile context. The current exams are PRINCE2 Agile Foundation and PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner, both Version 2; PeopleCert states that Version 1 exams must be taken by 31 December 2026.
PRINCE2 Agile Foundation is 40 multiple-choice questions in 60 minutes, closed book, with a 60% pass mark, and renews every three years with 20 CPD points. If you want a PRINCE2 Agile course online, PeopleCert’s own follows the same pattern as Foundation: self-paced eLearning of about 9 hours, which PeopleCert lists in English. Classroom PRINCE2 and agile training is available through local partners.
So if you are comparing a PRINCE2 Agile course with a PRINCE2 Foundation course, start from the exam you want. Agile PRINCE2 training covers the agile mindset, blending agile with PRINCE2 governance, agile roles, progress tracking and scaling agility; Foundation covers the method itself.

What PRINCE2 Agile courses cost at PeopleCert
On 9 October 2026 PeopleCert listed PRINCE2 Agile Foundation from US$701.00 and PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner from US$778.00. For Agile Foundation, the eLearning bundle — which makes it PRINCE2 Agile training online with the voucher included — was US$1,029.00, and eLearning+ with sample papers and a free re-take US$1,338.00.
If you have a Version 1 voucher, note PeopleCert’s retirement dates: Version 1 vouchers could be bought until 30 June 2026, and Version 1 exams must be taken by 31 December 2026. Agile PRINCE2 courses bought now should be written for Version 2.
