What is the Salesforce Field Service Consultant certification?
It is Salesforce’s certification for consultants who design and implement Field Service: the part of Salesforce that manages work orders, field technicians, scheduling, mobile work and inventory. Salesforce describes certified consultants as having proven experience with the administration and configuration of the Salesforce Platform.
The exam guide names the experience Salesforce expects from candidates: one to two years as a business analyst, at least one year in the field services industry, and at least two years of services and support experience. It is a consultant-level credential, not an entry point.

Field Service Consultant renamed: the Agentforce Field Service and Operations Consultant
Salesforce renamed a group of certifications on 24 July 2026. In its Certification Name Changes FAQ, the Salesforce Certified Field Service Consultant is listed as becoming the Salesforce Certified Agentforce Field Service and Operations Consultant.
Salesforce states that holders do not need to re-earn the certification despite the name change, and that the change does not affect the underlying exam content or the annual maintenance requirements. Your Trailblazer profile updates automatically, and employers who verify your credential see the new name with your original earned date. Exam guides and exam questions use the new product names, so expect “Agentforce” wording where older material simply says Field Service.
If you search for the old name, you will land on the new one: the Trailhead credential page under the former address now carries the Agentforce title.

How much does the Salesforce Field Service Consultant exam cost?
The registration fee is US$200, or JPY 30,000, plus applicable taxes as required by local law. A retake costs US$100, or JPY 15,000, plus taxes.
Remember the prerequisites when you budget. If you still need the Platform Administrator and the Agentforce Service Consultant certifications, those exams come first and have their own fees, so the full cost of reaching this credential is higher than this one exam.

Salesforce Field Service Consultant exam format and passing score
The exam has 60 multiple-choice and multiple-select questions plus up to five unscored questions, which Salesforce uses to test new items and which do not count towards your result. You cannot tell which ones they are, so treat every question as scored.
You have 105 minutes, a little under two minutes per question if all 65 appear. The exam is proctored, either onsite at a testing center or online, and no hard-copy or online materials may be used during it.
Salesforce sets the passing score at 63%. On 60 scored questions that means roughly 38 correct answers; the unscored items do not change that.
Sixty-three percent sounds forgiving, but the outline is uneven. Scheduling and optimization alone is 28% of the exam and work orders another 23%, so a weak spot in either can cost you the pass on its own.

What is on the Salesforce Field Service Consultant exam?
The exam outline has eight sections. More than half the weight sits in scheduling and work orders; the last four sections together carry only 23%:
- Managing Scheduling and Optimization — 28%
- Managing Work Orders — 23%
- Managing Resources — 16%
- Configuring Mobility — 10%
- Managing Inventory — 8%
- Managing Assets — 5%
- Configuring Maintenance Plans — 5%
- Permissions and Sharing — 5%

Field Service Consultant prerequisites
Salesforce requires two certifications before you can take this exam: the Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator and the Salesforce Certified Agentforce Service Consultant.
The order makes sense. Field Service builds on Service Cloud concepts and on platform administration — objects, security, sharing — so the exam assumes you already handle both. Beyond the formal prerequisites, the guide recommends hands-on experience and Salesforce Help documentation for each outline topic.

Official study materials for the Field Service Consultant exam
Salesforce’s exam guide points to a self-study Trailmix, “Prepare for your Salesforce Certified Agentforce Field Service and Operations Consultant Certification”, and to the Trailhead Academy course “Implement Agentforce Field Service (FSL201)”.
It also recommends Salesforce Help, tip sheets and user guides for each outline topic. Use the exam outline as your checklist: if you cannot explain how a topic works in a real implementation, that is where to spend your time.

How to keep the Field Service Consultant certification
Salesforce certifications are kept current through maintenance on Trailhead. For this credential the exam guide names the Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator certification maintenance modules, to be completed on Trailhead once a year.
The deadline is strict: Salesforce states that if you do not complete all maintenance requirements by the due date, your certification will expire. The 2026 rename did not change the annual maintenance requirement.

Salesforce Field Service Consultant exam dumps
Using dumps breaks Salesforce’s rules. Its Credentialing and Certification Program Agreement and Code of Conduct prohibits sharing, using or selling exam content in any format, including content someone memorised, and names unauthorised study sites, forums and blogs as places where it must not appear.
Salesforce describes a zero-tolerance policy for exam misconduct. The listed consequences include revoking earned certifications, a ban from certification exams of 90 days or more, and removal from Salesforce’s credentialing programs.
