ASVAB test: format, subtests, scores and practice
The ASVAB test (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) is the military enlistment test: its scores decide whether you can enlist and which military jobs you qualify for. Most applicants take the adaptive CAT-ASVAB with 10 subtests, which takes about 2 hours on average. Four subtests make up the AFQT score, reported as a percentile from 1 to 99, and scores can be used for enlistment for up to 2 years.
