The AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner CLF-C02 exam guide

AWS publishes the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam guide in its documentation, free and without sign-in. It defines who the exam is for, how it is scored and — most important for study — every task statement and the lists of in-scope and out-of-scope AWS services.

The current version is CLF-C02. The guide states that the exam has 50 scored and 15 unscored questions, that results are a scaled score from 100 to 1,000 with 700 to pass, and that scoring is compensatory: you need to pass the exam overall, not each section.

AWS lists the AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials course at 12 hours 45 minutes, and its exam preparation page marks the following as free: the Official Practice Question Sets of 20 questions, a 2-hour Exam Prep course that reviews sample questions for each domain, and AWS Cloud Quest.

Third-party books, courses and AWS Cloud Practitioner study notes PDF files can help, but check two things first. Is the material written for CLF-C02? And does it cover all four domains at roughly the weighting in the exam guide?
