What is the JNCIS-ENT certification?
JNCIS-ENT stands for Juniper Networks Certified Specialist, Enterprise Routing and Switching. It is the second level of the Enterprise Routing and Switching track: above JNCIA-Junos, which is its prerequisite, and below JNCIP-ENT and JNCIE-ENT. The program now runs under the name HPE Juniper Networking Certification Program (JNCP), and the certification pages sit on the Juniper Learning Portal.
The cert is aimed at networking professionals with beginner-to-intermediate knowledge of routing and switching on Junos. It moves beyond the Junos basics into the protocols an enterprise network actually runs: VLANs and spanning tree, OSPF, IS-IS and BGP, tunnels and high availability.

JNCIS-ENT exam format (JN0-352)
The current exam code is JN0-352. It has 65 multiple-choice questions and a 90-minute time limit, so you have a little under a minute and a half per question. The exam is written against Junos 23.1, is delivered through Pearson VUE, and is offered in English only.
You see your pass or fail status immediately after the exam. The JNCP policies add that results are available within five business days unless otherwise indicated, and that results determined valid appear in CertMetrics, the credential management system, within three business days.
Registration runs through Pearson VUE. The JNCP policies note that exam fees are due for no-shows, so reschedule in time if your plans change.

How much does the JNCIS-ENT exam cost? Voucher options
The JNCIS-ENT certification overview and the JNCP policy pages do not state the standard written exam fee, so this page does not quote one. The binding price is the one shown when you register at Pearson VUE.
There is an official discount route. Through Juniper Open Learning, you complete all modules of the free curriculum path and pass the Voucher Assessment Test with a score of 70% or higher. For Specialist-level exams, the resulting 75% discount voucher makes the live exam $75, and JNCIS-ENT is on the list of eligible certifications.
The rules are strict: you must take the voucher assessment within 60 days of registering for the curriculum path, you get three attempts to earn the voucher, and the voucher is valid for 30 days from issue, so the exam has to be scheduled and taken inside that window. To enrol in the JNCIS-ENT Open Learning courses you need an active JNCIA-Junos certification.

JNCIS-ENT passing score
HPE Juniper Networking does not publish exam passing scores. The program policies state that passing scores are set by statistical analysis for each individual test, so a number quoted elsewhere is not an official figure.
The official JNCIS-ENT practice exam has its own pass mark of 70%, but Juniper says explicitly that this is not necessarily the passing score of the live exam. Treat it as a training threshold, not a target.

What is on the JNCIS-ENT exam?
The JN0-352 objectives cover nine areas. Layer 2 and routing protocols carry most of the weight in practice, but the list makes clear that Layer 2 security and high availability features are tested in their own right rather than as footnotes.
- Layer 2 Switching or VLANs — bridging, tagging, native and voice VLANs, inter-VLAN routing
- Spanning Tree — STP and RSTP, port roles and states, BPDUs, convergence
- Layer 2 Security — BPDU, loop and root protection, port security, storm control, MACsec, Layer 2 firewall filters
- Protocol Independent Routing — static, aggregate and generated routes, routing instances, load balancing, filter-based forwarding
- OSPF — link-state database, adjacencies, DR/BDR, areas, LSA types, troubleshooting
- IS-IS — PDUs, TLVs, levels and areas, DIS, metrics, troubleshooting
- BGP — message types, attributes, path selection, IBGP and EBGP, policy, troubleshooting
- Tunnels — GRE and IP-IP
- High Availability — LAG, redundant trunk groups, Virtual Chassis, GRES, NSR, BFD, VRRP, ISSU

JNCIS-ENT training and course options
Juniper recommends two courses for the exam: Junos Intermediate Routing and Junos Enterprise Switching. Between them they map onto the routing-protocol and Layer 2 halves of the objectives. Juniper notes that recommended preparation is not required and does not guarantee a pass.
The free alternative is the Juniper Open Learning path for JNCIS-ENT, which also leads to the voucher described above. Live instructor-led and on-demand courses are listed separately on the Juniper Learning Portal.

JNCIS-ENT study plan and official practice exam
Start from the objective list, not from a book or a video series: it names exactly what JN0-352 covers, and the software baseline is Junos 23.1. Lab time on Junos matters for this exam because many objectives — OSPF adjacencies, BGP path selection, spanning tree convergence — are about how the protocol behaves, not just its definition.
Juniper publishes an official JNCIS-ENT practice exam on the Learning Portal. It shows the correct responses with explanations at the end and allows unlimited attempts, but the questions do not change between attempts — so a high score on a repeat run tells you that you remember those questions, not that you are ready.

JNCIS-ENT dumps and exam rules
The JNCP policies state that exam content may not be copied, reproduced, published, uploaded or posted, and that candidates must take no action that compromises the integrity or confidentiality of any certification exam. Sites selling or sharing “actual exam questions” publish exactly that content.
Penalties for violating the policy can include revoked exam results and a ban from the certification program — which would also block JNCIP-ENT and JNCIE-ENT later. Dumps are also simply a poor way to pass an exam built on protocol behaviour.

JNCIS-ENT retake policy and renewal
If you fail your first attempt you can retake the exam at any time. After a second or subsequent failure you must wait 14 calendar days before the next attempt.
The certification is valid for three years. You can renew it by passing the specialist-level exam in the same track again, or by passing the JNCIP-ENT exam; earning JNCIP-DC also recertifies JNCIS-ENT. Recertification through course attendance is possible too: Junos Enterprise Switching, Junos Intermediate Routing, Junos IP version 6, Junos Class of Service, or Deploying and Managing Juniper SD-WAN with Session Smart Routers, among others. Open Learning courses cannot be used for recertification.

JNCIS-ENT practice questions
Certsqill’s JNCIS-ENT practice questions come with an explanation for every answer option and a readiness score per domain, so you can see whether OSPF, BGP or high availability is the area still holding you back.
