What is the OCI Generative AI Professional certification?
The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Generative AI Professional certification is Oracle’s professional-level credential for building with large language models on OCI. It covers LLM fundamentals, the OCI Generative AI service, building LLM applications on it, and retrieval-augmented generation with OCI’s RAG agents service.
Oracle labels its OCI certification versions by year, and the exam number carries the year: 1Z0-1127-25 is the 2025 version. Oracle’s certification guidelines state that it routinely publishes new versions of its exams and that the passing score is set independently for each version.

1Z0-1127-25 or 1Z0-1127-26: which exam version is current?
Oracle University announced the 2025 Generative AI Professional exam, 1Z0-1127-25, on 14 March 2025. In 2026 Oracle rolled out 2026 versions of its OCI learning paths and exams, and Oracle University now lists an exam page for 1Z0-1127-26 and a 2026 certification track for Generative AI Professional.
The Oracle MyLearn learning path for the 2025 version states that it would be archived on 30 September 2026. We could not read Oracle University’s exam pages directly, so we cannot confirm whether 1Z0-1127-25 can still be booked. Before buying, open the Oracle University exam page and check which exam number is offered; if it is 1Z0-1127-26, prepare against the 2026 materials.
The figures below — question count, time and passing score — are those Oracle published for the 2025 version. Oracle sets the passing score per version, so do not assume they carry over unchanged to 1Z0-1127-26.

1Z0-1127-25 exam format and passing score
According to Oracle University, the 2025 certification exam has 50 questions to be answered in 90 minutes, and the pass percentage is 68%, which means 34 correct answers. That leaves just under two minutes per question.
Oracle also said the 2025 exam had been updated to include new topics covering new service features — which is why material written for an earlier version can miss whole areas of the current exam.

What is on the OCI Generative AI Professional exam?
For the 2025 version, Oracle published four topic areas. Using the OCI Generative AI service carries 40% on its own, twice the weight of any other area, so hands-on familiarity with the service matters more than general LLM theory.

How much does the OCI Generative AI Professional exam cost?
We could not confirm the exam fee. Oracle’s 2025 announcement does not state it, and the Oracle University exam pages, which show the price, could not be read when we checked. We do not print a price we cannot verify.
Oracle has made some certifications free — its August 2026 update says Foundations courses remain available at no cost — but that statement does not cover the Generative AI Professional exam. Check the price on the Oracle University exam page for your country before you plan.

Official course: Become an OCI Generative AI Professional
Oracle’s official preparation is the “Become an OCI Generative AI Professional” learning path on Oracle MyLearn. It covers LLM basics and architectures, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, code and multimodal models and language agents, then goes deep into the OCI Generative AI service: pretrained models, fine-tuning with T-Few, inference, dedicated AI clusters and the service’s security architecture.
The course ends with a build: a retrieval-augmented generation chatbot using the OCI Generative AI service, including vector search, a LangChain-based chatbot, and deploying it on OCI. That project lines up with the two application-focused topic areas of the exam.
Oracle’s 2025 learning path was scheduled for archiving on 30 September 2026, so make sure the course version you take matches the exam number you book.

1Z0-1127-25 dumps: what Oracle says
People searching for 1Z0-1127-25 dumps should know that Oracle addresses brain dumps directly. Its certification guidelines treat any contribution to, use of or sharing of materials pertaining to Oracle certification exams as a violation, and state that it is strictly prohibited to disclose or share the content of any Oracle certification exam.
The consequences Oracle lists include decertification, a temporary, indefinite or permanent ban from its certification programmes, and forfeiture of fees. Oracle also says it is the candidate’s responsibility to make sure the materials they use are legitimate, and points to MyLearn as the place to check, to avoid exam dump websites and offers.
There is a practical problem too: a dump for 1Z0-1127-25 targets a version that Oracle has already followed with 1Z0-1127-26, and Oracle sets passing scores per version.

OCI AI Foundations is Oracle’s foundations-level AI certification; the Generative AI Professional is a professional-level credential that expects you to work with the OCI Generative AI service and build applications on it.
If you are new to AI on OCI, the Foundations level is the gentler start, and Oracle states that Foundations courses remain available at no cost. If you already build with LLMs, go straight to the Professional exam.
