Why you can trust these SnowPro Advanced: Architect questions
What is the SnowPro Advanced Architect certification?
SnowPro Advanced: Architect is one of Snowflake’s role-based Advanced certifications. Snowflake says it tests advanced knowledge and skills used to apply comprehensive architect solutions using Snowflake — in other words, designing accounts, security, data pipelines and performance for real workloads rather than knowing where features are in the UI.
It sits above SnowPro Core, which is the formal prerequisite, and each role-based Advanced certification has its own exam and its own recertification exam.

How much does the SnowPro Advanced Architect exam cost?
The registration fee is US$375, according to Snowflake’s exam guide; the continuing education page lists the same US$375 for SnowPro Advanced exams.
Budget for a possible retake at full price. Snowflake’s programme policy states that there are no free retakes and no discounts on exam retakes. Recertification exams, by contrast, are offered at a reduced price point, though Snowflake does not print the Architect recertification price on the pages checked for this article.

SnowPro Advanced Architect exam format
The current exam version is ARA-C01. It has 65 questions in two formats, multiple choice and multiple select, with a 115-minute time limit. The exam is offered in English, either online with a remote proctor or at an onsite testing center.
Snowflake notes that exams may include unscored items used to gather statistical information. They do not affect your score, and Snowflake allows extra time for them, but you will not know which ones they are.
For multiple-select questions, read carefully how many options the question asks for, and judge every option on its own before you commit.

SnowPro Advanced Architect passing score
Snowflake uses scaled scoring from 0 to 1000, and the passing scaled score is 750. That applies across SnowPro exams according to the programme policy, and the Architect exam guide states the same figure.
A scaled score is not a percentage of correct answers. Snowflake does not publish how many of the 65 questions you need to answer correctly, so aim for consistent strength across all four domains rather than a target count.

What is on the SnowPro Advanced Architect exam?
The exam guide organises the content into four domains. Snowflake states that each domain carries a weighting range; those percentages were not part of the guide text available for this article, so they are not repeated here.
Snowflake’s description of the target candidate tells you how deep each domain goes: hands-on expertise with SQL and SQL analytics, building complex ETL/ELT pipelines, implementing security and compliance requirements, and working with different data modelling techniques.

SnowPro Advanced Architect prerequisites and experience
The formal prerequisite, as stated in the exam guide, is being SnowPro Core certified. Earn that first, then book the Architect exam.
Snowflake recommends two or more years of practical experience with Snowflake as an architect in a production environment. Coding experience outside SQL and DevOps or DataOps design experience are described as a plus, not a requirement.

Retake policy
If you fail, you must wait seven days before attempting the exam again. Within any 12-month period you may take a given Snowflake exam up to four times.
Snowflake enforces this strictly: tests taken in violation of the retake policy are invalidated, using multiple profiles to evade it leads to all exams being invalidated and fees forfeited, and repeat violators may be permanently banned from the certification programme.

How long is the SnowPro Advanced Architect certification valid?
All Snowflake certifications expire two years after the credential award date. Each role-based Advanced certification has its own recertification exam, and the Architect recertification exam is available to holders of an active Architect credential that expires within six months.
Snowflake’s continuing education programme gives further renewal paths: earn an equivalent, complementary or higher-level certification, or complete one eligible Snowflake instructor-led training course listed for your certification. If you let the credential lapse, you have to retake the original exam.

Official SnowPro Advanced Architect study resources
Snowflake recommends its instructor-led Snowflake Advanced Training course for this exam, and offers the SnowPro Advanced: Architect Study Guide as free self-study material. Both are listed in the exam guide.
Use the four domains as your study plan and check the exam guide before you book, so that you prepare for the exam version that is live when you sit it.

SnowPro Advanced Architect dumps and practice questions
Snowflake’s programme policy page does not address brain dumps directly. Collections of supposed real exam questions are not a reliable way to prepare: they cannot be checked against the official exam guide, and an architect exam rewards understanding trade-offs, not memorising answers.
SnowPro Advanced Architect practice questions on this site come with an explanation for each answer option and a readiness score per domain.
