Why you can trust these SnowPro Advanced: Data Analyst questions
What is the SnowPro Advanced: Data Analyst certification?
SnowPro Advanced: Data Analyst is one of Snowflake’s role-based advanced certifications, alongside Architect, Data Engineer, Data Scientist and Administrator. Snowflake says the exam tests advanced knowledge and skills used to apply comprehensive data analysis principles using Snowflake and its components.
It is aimed at analysts who already work in Snowflake every day — writing complex SQL, preparing data for analysis and turning it into results the business can use — rather than at people who are learning the platform.
The credential sits one level above SnowPro Core. Core proves you know the Snowflake platform; Data Analyst proves you can use it for serious analytical work.

SnowPro Advanced Data Analyst prerequisites
There is one hard requirement: you must hold the SnowPro Core certification in good standing. If your Core certification has lapsed, you have to earn it again before you can sit an Advanced exam.
Snowflake also describes the candidate it has in mind: at least one year of Snowflake data cloud analytics experience, including practical, hands-on use of the Snowflake AI Data Cloud, and fluency with advanced SQL. Knowledge of an additional programming language is recommended but not required.
Read “fluency with advanced SQL” literally. If complex analytical SQL is not part of your daily work in Snowflake, close that gap before you book.

SnowPro Advanced Data Analyst exam format and passing score
Snowflake scores its SnowPro exams on a scale of 0 to 1000, and the passing scaled score is 750. Snowflake uses scaled scoring to keep results consistent across different forms of an exam, and it does not publish how many correct answers a scaled score of 750 corresponds to.
After the exam you get a score report. If you fail, it contains your score and feedback at objective level, which tells you which areas to revisit before a retake.
Snowflake’s public certification page for Data Analyst does not state the exam version code, the number of questions, the question types or the time limit, and the exam study guide could not be loaded for this guide. Read those details from the study guide or the registration page before you book.

How much does the SnowPro Advanced Data Analyst exam cost?
Snowflake’s Continuing Education page lists US$375 for SnowPro Advanced under the heading “Fees”, next to US$175 for SnowPro Core. The certification page itself does not show a price, so confirm the exact amount in the Pearson VUE registration.
Every attempt is paid in full: Snowflake’s policies state that each exam attempt requires full payment of the exam fee, with no discounted retakes. If you book a test center, reschedule or cancel at least 24 hours in advance or you forfeit the fee; online registrations can be rescheduled or cancelled without additional fees before the appointment.

What is on the SnowPro Advanced Data Analyst exam?
Snowflake describes the scope in one line: advanced knowledge and skills used to apply comprehensive data analysis principles using Snowflake and its components. The detailed domains and their weightings are in the exam study guide, which could not be loaded for this guide, so this page does not list them.
Snowflake’s recommended background gives a fair indication of the level: hands-on analytics work in Snowflake, advanced SQL, and ideally a second language. Download the official study guide from the certification page before you plan your preparation, and use its domain list as your checklist.

How to register: Pearson VUE, test center or online
SnowPro certification exams are delivered through Pearson VUE. You can sit the exam at any of more than 1,000 testing centers worldwide or remotely at home with a virtual proctor.
During registration you must review and accept Snowflake’s Certification Terms & Conditions. Make sure your SnowPro Core certification is active on the day you register, since it is the prerequisite for this exam.

SnowPro Advanced Data Analyst retake policy
If you fail, you must wait seven days before you can attempt the exam again, and the same seven-day wait applies after every further failed attempt. Within any 12-month period you can retake a given Snowflake exam four times.
Snowflake enforces these limits: an attempt that breaks the retake policy is invalidated, and creating multiple profiles to get around it invalidates all exams and forfeits the fees. Repeat violators may be permanently banned from the Snowflake Certification Program.

How long is the SnowPro Advanced Data Analyst certification valid?
All Snowflake certifications expire two years after the credential award date. Passing an Advanced exam has a useful side effect: your SnowPro Core status is aligned with the expiration date of your latest SnowPro Advanced certification.
Snowflake states that each role-based Advanced certification exam has its own recertification exam. You can also renew through Snowflake’s Continuing Education Program, for example by earning an equivalent, complementary or higher-level certification. Snowflake does not offer extensions once a certification has expired, so renew in time.

Official practice exam and SnowPro Advanced Data Analyst dumps
Snowflake offers an official “Practice Exam: Data Analyst”. Snowflake describes its practice exams as sample questions similar to those found in the SnowPro certification exams, which makes it the closest official preview of the real thing.
Snowflake’s published program policies do not address brain dumps specifically; candidates accept Snowflake’s Certification Terms & Conditions when they register. Whatever the rules, a dump is not a reliable way to prepare: it cannot tell you whether the answers are current or correct, and it does not build the SQL skills the exam and the job require.
